The nose is fragrant and initially expresses meaty and smoky notes, which disappear after aeration. We then find notes of red cherry, cranberries, morello cherry, crushed raspberry, fresh strawberry, combined with spicy aromas (liquorice, nutmeg, a touch of vanilla), toast, a hint of violet and a delicate minerality, combined with a hint of fresh tobacco and peppermint. The mouth is mellow, with fine and supple tannins. It expresses the gourmet notes of juicy black fruits (blackberry, black plum, morello cherry), wild strawberry and crushed raspberry, combined with notes of red cherry in chocolate, liquorice, cardamom and dried mint, with subtle hint of dried blueberry in the background. The finish is sapid, gourmand, very fruity and chocolatey.
