For 4 generations, the Roskam-Brunot family has been perpetuating their passion in elaborating fine wines of Saint-Emilion so that we can guarantee you the highest quality and authenticity of our wines.

It’s at the heart of this historic property that we have the pleasure of welcoming you and have you discover our passion and history.

Château Cantenac received the “Jury’s Choice Awards for the “Best of Wine Tourism 2017” competition as recognition of the quality of hospitality and services provided at the estate. THE VISITS

The tours are friendly, educational, punctuated with interesting anecdotes and take you on a journey to discover the life of a family estate. You will discover the unique history of the family & the estate and the production stages of a Grand Cru from the vine to the glass: the terroir, the vineyard work, winemaking and wine aging. The visit ends with a comparative and educational tasting of our family wines.

Usual Tour Times : 10:30 am, 2:00 pm, 3:30 pm (The winery is closed between 12 pm and 2 pm)

Time: visits will start on time based on the confirmed tour time communicated to you. You can still join the tour in progress in case you’re up to 15 minutes late. If you are more than 15 minutes late, and especially if we don’t have news from you, the tour will be considered cancelled. Refunds: We can refund you if you email us your cancellation request up to 24 hours before your appointment. Please note that a cancellation fee may apply, depending on the original method of payment. 

« Classic » Tour
Visit including a tasting of 3 wines. Duration : 1 hour
Price : 15 € per adult, 7.5 € per teenager (aged 13 to 18), free for children 12 and under.

« Prestige » Tour
Visit including a tasting of 4 wines accompanied by bread and cheese.
Price : 35 € per adult, to be paid in advance. Duration : 1h30

« Private Collection » Tour
Visit including the tasting of 4 wines that you choose from our Private Collection*, accompanied by aged cheese.

Private Tour : groups from 4 to 12 people. Price : 75 € per adult, to be paid in advance. Duration : 1h30

WORKSHOP & SEMINAR

Organize your workshops or seminars in the heart of Saint-Emilion vineyard. 

Conditions : 5 to 30 people depending on configuration. Reservation on request.

LANGUAGES : English and French ; Spanish and Cantonese (by reservation, subject to availability).

TRANSPORT : By Car => 8 min from the Village / 6 min St Emilion Train Station / 15 min Libourne Train Station ;  By Bike : 15 min from the Village ou St Emilion Train Station [Bike rental at the Tourism Office] ; On Foot : 50 minutes from the Village. Other : please note that it takes 20 min to go to the village from the St Emilion train station ; Important note : taxis are rare and need to reserved in advance.

ACCESSIBILITY (ERP) : all parts of the tour and tasting experience as well as toilets are wheelchair accessible.

PETS: our winery is dog/cat friendly (it is imperative to inform us).

BUS ACCESS & PARKING: Bus parking. Access : use the back entrance of the winery. (A) first right before winery coming from Castillon or (B) first left after winery coming from Libourne)
